In the same fun style as their save the dates, Christina and Aaron wanted their wedding invitations to reflect their personalities, but in a more formal way through vibrant colors and playful wording. Shades of orange and teal were their wedding colors. I wanted the invitation font to be whimsical and varied, changing from Peoni Pro to Love Potion, to further display the playfulness and quirkiness of their personalities.
In addition to the lively fonts and colors, Christina and Aaron wanted to incorporate chipboard and twine to give the invites a more hand-crafted look. To supplement the hand-crafted look, I added simple and fun background patterns to the accordion booklets, and a chevron pattern to the chipboard. To package the invitations, I used the chipboard as the base, placed the accordion booklets on top, and tied the invitation with twine.
